Day 5
The reversible book has 6 sheets all of which can be completely detached from the book. One side of each shape is black/white and the other side is coloured. The book is designed to be used right from the baby’s birth tummy time. It acts as a good focal point for their under-developed eye sight.
Material: Cloth with internally sewed magnet and stuffed with thin foam sheet.
Space requirement: Compact & Travel friendly
Age Category: 6 months & above
Function:
All the shapes are equally divided on the sheets such that both sides of a shape can fit on the puzzle sheet. 6 months, is a good time to introduce the coloured side of these sheets. The sheets can be stuck to wall as the child starts to sit upright and has grown strength to pull and place objects.
Around the age of 2 years would be a right time to introduce the colourful Puzzle aspect of the of the toy. As the child gets familiar and quick with the patterns they can be challenged to solve the puzzle by looking at the B/W side.
Targeted skill development:
• Fine Motor skills
• Cognitive learning
• Understanding shape, size, colour, count, trace, texture
• Pretend play & Story telling
